Upcoming Schedule Changes

Dear Beloved of Salem,
By now, I hope you have received and read over the covenant that the councils and leadership of both Salem and Atonement sent out via email last week. This was drafted with careful consideration and with hopes of some structure moving forward. As part of our continuing collaboration, I wanted to make all of you aware that starting Sept. 9, I will be working at Atonement every Wednesday. I will still have my office at K-Hall and do the majority of my office work there, but for the sake of collaboration, it made sense to work one day a week at Atonement.
There may be exceptions to this as business needs dictate. So, if you need to reach or find me, it would still be best to call, text, or email. As Pastor Zac, Pastor Jordan, and I continue to work together more, being in the same place and being able to work face-to-face helps to facilitate things a bit faster. I want to be clear: my call is to Salem. I serve all of you. But I also feel that this collaboration is serving you, and I want to be able to do that to the best of my ability. Working at Atonement would be no different than me setting up coffee shop hours or working at the public library.
I know many of you have appreciated knowing the preaching rotation. I will share what we’ve worked out with each of my Staff Trax articles:
August 23: Pastor Jordan
August 30: Pastor Zac
September 6: Pastor J
We will share presiding opportunities and, as fall programming starts, education opportunities as well — mainly a rotation teaching confirmation!
