Challenges

There are many times that we go through challenges in our lives. We pray for guidance to help us through those times. But is that enough?
I start my morning with prayer, giving thanks for what I have and what God helps me with. I pray for my family and loved ones, and end with a prayer for myself. The prayer I ask is for guidance, protection, and many other personal thoughts. It’s a conversation that I enjoy, and it helps me with what is to come that day.
This month it has been a year since I lost my twin. I remember the good times we had and even the bad. But I always look forward. I don’t worry about yesterday, just the day I am living.
Each day is a gift. Love each other. Pray for each other in times of trouble and illness and be thankful for what God has given us all.
We must be persistent. Every day is different; different challenges and different paths we take can change and bring new challenges.
The Lord tells us to always be praying and not lose heart. Don’t be discouraged. Don’t be dejected. Don’t give in to cynicism. Or bitterness. Or overcome with negativity. The Lord will always be there.
