I'll See It Because I Believe It

I’ll see it because I believe it! I’ll do it because I know I can. I’ll believe it because I know I must. I’ll be it and I’ll be it to the very best of my ability.

Just starting there and being able to reflect and observe the different voices inside of us is a great place to start your self-awareness. The biggest challenges for most of us is we don’t know whose or what thoughts to listen to. Just realizing that means now at least you’re trying to differentiate between what you’re going to do that’s going to help you make better decisions in the future.

There are many ways to get the things we want for ourselves in our lives, but basically it all begins with what we choose to think. “As you think so shall you be.” Seven words have never been so true. We become what we think about all day long. Once you know that what you think about is what you ask for, you start getting really careful regarding what you think about. You don’t allow your thoughts to be on anything that you don’t want.

I start every morning with prayer, and knowing that I’m a talker I intentionally close my mind down and just listen. The main reason I do this is my self-talk overwhelms me more times than not with negative thoughts that then become beliefs, that then become facts, and I live those “facts” throughout the day. That is the exact opposite of what God’s purpose is for me. This I do know. Every time I hold on to God’s hands (listening to His voice and His purpose for me), I hear Him say, “You are my child, and I tell you you’ll see it because I believe it! You’ll do it because I know you can! You’ll believe it, knowing you must! And you’ll be all of this to your best ability!”

This is my hope for you individually and as a church family. Hold on to God’s mighty hands today and every day.
